The value for money at Charrington was impressive, with a clean and comfortable room. The location was great, close to the train station, and the staff were helpful and accommodating.
The food for breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Quirky hotel in the elegant style. The new-fashioned room with its exceptionally comfortable beds. Accommodating and outstandingly accommodating staff; easy check in. An excellent restaurant available in the venue.

Accommodating staff, it was pleasant stay.
Liked this affordable hotel, favourable location and compact rooms. The breakfast had something for everyone - coffee and tea. The room with balconies.

Location
Forced to park on busy street with only 2 hour parking when Booked.net site indicated parking was possible with reservation. Breakfast only on weekends, but we did manage to get a continental placed in room. Ants in room .

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to many places we enjoy visiting, such as Chatswood Park. We loved having a spacious balcony in our room. The proximity to a train station made it convenient for us to explore different areas. Staying in the Chatswood district was a great experience.

Rooms were very quiet. Street quiet and leafy. Close to Chatswood station and multiple shopping centres, restaurants, cinemas etc. Staff were very obliging when I wanted to change my booking. Hotel is decorated with old fashioned charm.
Lacking a bit of attenton to detail ie: drawers falling out and not enough power points - I couldn't use the bedside lamp and the electric blanket at the same time.

The architecture of the Charrington Boutique hotel is truly lovely, with its stained glass windows adding a touch of elegance. The location is also great, close to both the station and shops.

It looked nice from the outside - it had a Federation feel to it. The lobby had beautiful tiffany lamps and comfy lounges. The shower had good, hot water pressure. The room had a nice little balcony looking out onto greenery.
On arrival the staff were talking in another language - I sensed that the women were making fun of me which made me feel very uncomfortable; they were sniggering and laughing and looking at me strangely. The little dog was quite viscous - barking at us ferociously as we walked in, which startled me very much - I am not used to dogs. The room was imposiibly small for two people - we could hardly move around at all. The bed was a foldout and the matress very hard and uncomfortable. We didn't get our towels changed for the 3 days we were there - it was a hotel policy. We could here the occupants upstairs stomping around very loudly - especially late at night which kept us awake.

The room was very traditional and big in general, with balconies. Location: the hotel was right by Chatswood and the train station as well as those who would like a romantic / peaceful time away from the hustle.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. its convenient location close to the train station made it easy for me to explore the city. Secondly, the rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, and I especially loved having a private balcony to enjoy the tree-filled outlook. Lastly, the fact that breakfast was included in the price was a great bonus.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

As my husband had had a double knee replacement I requested a room with few stairs. I was informed by phone that we had a room with three stairs. When we arrived we found we were down a flight of stairs. The girl at the front desk said there was nothing else available. My husband had to go without a shower as the shower was over the bath. We found the rooms very small. I am very sorry but we found our stay very dissapointing. Carollyn Fisher
